FRED NEIL (1936-2001) was an American folk singer-songwriter in the 1960s & 1970s who is mainly known through other people's recordings of his material, particularly "Everybody's Talkin'" which became a hit for Harry Nilsson in the film 'Midnight Cowboy'. Neil's beautifully sad & introspective composition "GREEN ROCKY ROAD" is also from his self-titled second album (released in 1966), and has been covered by countless artists including folk legends Karen Dalton and Tim Hardin.

In November 2012 an a cappella recording of "GREEN ROCKY ROAD" by GUY BLAKESLEE (The Entrance Band) was captured live during the HIT+RUN Crew's 7-Year Anniversary party "REPEAT OFFENDER" at The Echoplex in Los Angeles, California. This sparse vocal track (recorded by Ramon 'Pay Ray' Limon) was clandestinely circulated in 2013 to a handful of Crew Producers who were asked to remix, rearrange & reinterpret the choral gem.

The result is this meditative 20-minute EP entitled "O O O •" featuring far-out remixes by SUN EYE (Hashim B & Akiko), CONTACT FIELD ORCHESTRA (Damon Aaron), KONE (Matthew Kone), D/P/I (Alexander Gray) and SEVEN DAVIS JR (Samuel Lonnelee Davis). Additionally included here as bonus material (for you to create your own remix) is the original a capella track by Guy Blakeslee, who also created the haunting cover art collage.
